Tattoos That Last For 2 Weeks - Just The Right Amount Of Temporary
We love design. We love art. We love tattoos. But we haven't been ready to take the permanent plunge. We wanted temporary tattoos that we could proudly wear in public - tattoos that wouldn’t look fake and silly. And that’s why we created this little thing here.
The inkbox is a fruit-based tattoo that lasts two weeks, and only takes 10 minutes to apply. It looks and feels just like a real tattoo, without the commitment.
How It Works
Application in 5 easy steps:
1. Peel the back off of the inkbox.
2. Place it on the skin where you want your tattoo to appear.
3. Run the provided towelette under water for 3 seconds.
4. Put on the provided black tattoo glove and hold the towelette over the black square in the middle for 10 minutes, with firm pressure.
5. Remove the stencil and wait.
The tattoo magically appears over the next 12-24 hours. We like to put them on before bed and then wake-up with a tattoo!
inkbox tattoos work by sinking our patented formula into the top layer of your skin, which then reacts with organic compounds to change your skin's colour dark blue/black. Our ink is safe for your skin, pain free and made from all natural ingredients.
Traditional tattoos are permanent because they sit in your dermis. But inkbox tattoos sit in your epidermis and therefore only last 2-3 weeks, which is the natural regeneration time of your skin.
Got mine as a kickstarter backer! Their service is prompt! screwed it up the first time and they promptly sent me a second one. do take note of their instructions, follow it to the dot and you'll get a clear dark tattoo within 24 hours! also, i find the ink lasts depending on where you "inked" it. I got mine at the wrist, so i think due to more friction, it fades faster than 2 weeks? maybe about 8-9 days max. Perhaps if you have it on a less exposed place maybe it will last the 2 weeks~ caution! do follow the application instructions! cos if you don't, it is likely you will screw it up! watch the video on their website, i find more helpful than reading it!
