Also called Tai-Kabura in Japan, it's a modification of the traditional fishing technique utilising jig heads to target snappers (tai) and also groupers. Using an extremely thin lines, anglers work a shaped jig head with skirts and small hooks on assist lines on a slow steady retrieve creates flutter and action that attracts the fish. As snappers peck and tease alot, this Giant Killing rod from Majorcraft makes it easy to feel shortbites with its solid tip, something that tubular rods cannot offer.
